Bio

S H A . G O J Y O ' S childhood was everything but happy. He was constantly picked on for being a "half-breed", the child of a human and a youkai (demon), and the mere sight of him would bring his step-mother to tears, since he was a reminder that his demonic father, her husband, had a child with some other human woman. Unable to take it any longer, Gojyo's mother moved to end her suffering and rid herself of Gojyo. If not for the intervention by Gojyo's half-brother, Dokugakuji, he would have died.

Gojyo is flirtatious, easy-going, and loaded with mother issues; for instance, he can't stand a woman crying, and his constant need to score with girls ~~even though he's totally getting it on with his best friend, Hakkai,~~ is probably derived from his need to feel loved. One of his favorite hobbies is brawling with Goku ~~like 5-year-olds~~ over the most irrelevant of matters. Other special abilities involve bitching/snarking at Sanzo and consequently getting his head almost-blown off every three hours or so. Despite all this, Gojyo is extremely loyal and caring. Impulsive more often than not, he won't hesitate to risk his own life in order to protect his friends. Probably not as strong as the other Sanzo Ikkou members but still very skilled when it comes to fights, his weapons of choice are his shakujou, his fists and his big mouth.

So, apparently Shangri-La couldn't handle the incurable playboy and it spat him out into modern day Tokyo where Gojyo has made a decent amount of money with his near incredible luck in gambling games. Though, as of late, Gojyo has set his eyes on the battle of the bands competition, after all, what could be better than exposing beautiful-ass self on stange in front of millions of equally beautiful ladies?
